I am originally from north Wales, but moved to Oxford to read PPE at Mansfield College.
I became attracted to a career in law because of its flexibility and the variety of opportunities on offer. I am particularly interested in projects work, with the hope of expanding upon my past experience and so BDB offers an ideal fit to my career outlook with its ideal mixture of commercial and public law work.
For much of my early career I worked in the renewable energy sector, initially as a junior project manager and later on the legal side. I have worked in the English and Scottish legal systems and have experience of commercial leasehold and financing work relating to wind farm projects. I have planning, litigation and corporate experience from a year working at Courts & Co solicitors (now part of DMH Stallard).
In the past I have also worked as a Citizens Advice Bureau advisor and was involved with their social policy group on landlord and tenant housing issues.
I currently live in East London and enjoy cycling, running, live comedy and music. I am an enthusiastic cook (my latest interest is desserts) and I enjoy fine steaks and South American wine.
